Lecture: ERG – Evolving Energies
The ERG Group completed a radical transformation process from leading Italian private oil operator to leading independent operator in the generation of energy from renewable sources, wind, solar, hydroelectric and high-output co-generative thermoelectric, also expanding abroad with a rising presence on the French and German wind markets. With a 80 years-history, ERG changed its business model, now based on sustainability and renewable energy. The main stages of the transformation were between 2008 and 2017: ERG disinvested from the Oil industry with great purpose and reinvested in green energy through acquisitions and construction of new plants.
